Went to the memorial service for the father of a good friend today before heading into work.

It's interesting how the words of those left behind about the deceased can cause you to take stock of your own life and relationships.

213/366: pattern observations

Spent some time in the studio today and barely got anything done. This summer cold that has gotten hold of me caused periodic sneezing fits that made being as productive as I wanted a serious challenge.

Here, I was taking a break and doing some people watching. Well, not people watching, per se, but checking out the patterns of pedestroams, cars and bicyclists going by.

Caught some nice breezes outside my studio window as this afternoon's rain shower was ending.

It's that time of year when the heat might not be on, it's warming up outside but still slightly cool and the sun coming through an unshaded window is good and warm.
