Longjohns are a must for days with temperatures like today's. Any time the thermometer goes below 30ºF, they go on with no hesitation.
I have several bottoms in different colors. I have a blue pair that are thin, but really warm. I purchased them for a camping trip a few years ago and I'd love to get more. They're less bulky than traditional long underwear, which makes a difference when I'm indoors for most of the day after walking to work.
I could just take them off while at work, but I'm too lazy to bother most of the time.
