244/366: the daydreamer

244/366: the daydreamer

Taking a few minutes to drift away during the work day goes a long way in helping to keep me sane.

241/366: there's something on your back...

241/366: there's something on your back

Apparently, my walking around with a piece of packing tape she stuck on my back is a source of high entertainment for my wife.

240/366: the missing

240/366: the missing

What's wrong with this photo? Well, there's the little thing of my wedding ring being missing. I lost it here in the apartment sometime this morning. It slipped off of my finger while Eva and I were packing. There are rugs covering most of the floor and I didn't hear it hit anything, so I'm assuming that it might be in one of the boxes with linens in it. At least I hope it is...

234/366: snuck her in

E often doesn't want to be caught in my '365', but I find ways around that :)

233/366: oh, them, I don't know who you're talking about...

233/366: oh, them, I don't know who you're talking about...

Believe it or not, I know those two clowning in the background. I just chose to ignore them :D

232/366: washing is more important

232/366: washing is more important

I don't know if I have this right, but I there's a magnet on the employee refrigerator that reads, "“Dogs come when they're called; cats take a message and get back to you later”-Mary Bly

All too true... :)

231/366: she told a funny one

231/366: she told a funny one

Eva was telling me something funny about applying for a job online.

229/366: reflection

229/366: reflection

Went to the memorial service for the father of a good friend today before heading into work.

It's interesting how the words of those left behind about the deceased can cause you to take stock of your own life and relationships.

225/366: the unsavory part

Ah, yes, the move. Not something anyone really likes, and I haven't done it in ten years. All there is to do now is to get packing...

221/366: (not so) mellow yellow

221/366: (not so) mellow yellow

In the underpass tunnel at the Merion regional train station. I had just come from doing a studio visit with a painting collegue, Steve Baris.

220/366: not quite alone

220/366: not quite alone

I almost had what would have been a solo self portrait had it not been for a new wave of viewers strolling through the exhibit.

I kept this one because I liked the posed look I have and the random woman walking by.

219/366: hooked

219/366: hooked

Silver fish hook designed by my wife. I liked the first one she made so much that I bought this one from her. The original inspiration comes from Maori fish hook designs called Hei Matau.

213/366: pattern observations

213/366: pattern observations

Spent some time in the studio today and barely got anything done. This summer cold that has gotten hold of me caused periodic sneezing fits that made being as productive as I wanted a serious challenge.

Here, I was taking a break and doing some people watching. Well, not people watching, per se, but checking out the patterns of pedestroams, cars and bicyclists going by.
